Mix this all together and add it to the pie pan.
Beat the pudding mixture with a whisk, and spoon 1/2 of the pudding mixture on to the crust.
Now, add 1/2 container of 8 oz. cool whip to the remaining pudding mixture – gently whisk until blended.
Spoon this mix into the pie.
Top with the remaining cool whip and drizzle caramel topping (ice cream topping) on top of the cool whip.
