WE’RE HONORED! (LITERALLY)
Exciting news: the Next Generation Ultimate Double Hung from Marvin Windows and Doors was selected at the 2015 International Builders’ Show (IBS) as the winner of the prestigious Best of IBS Award, given by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
Chosen by a panel of independent judges, including reporters and building professionals, Marvin’s Next Generation Ultimate Double Hung was selected out of hundreds of applicants as the best and most innovative window product on the market. With the Next Generation Ultimate Double Hung, Marvin masterfully reinvented one of the classic windows of our time by combining state-of-the-art technology with its legendary American craftsmanship, resulting in a traditional-looking window that is deceptively modern and beautifully innovative.
The Next Generation Ultimate Double Hung uses an innovative hardware system, which elegantly combines the traditional double hung look with intuitive operation, modern convenience and added peace of mind. Marvin also has expanded its Next Generation Ultimate Double Hung family to include a round top version and a StormPlus version for regions where hurricane protection is needed.
“At Marvin, we pride ourselves on providing the very best performing products and uncompromising service to our customers,” said Christine Marvin, Director of Marketing at Marvin Windows and Doors. “This new window is a great example of what Marvin does best – create a product that is beautifully designed, and that answers our customers’ needs for functionality and performance. We’re so proud of this window, and are honored to be chosen by the NAHB as one of the best and most innovative products on the market in 2015.”
“With a record number of product submissions, the competition for this year’s Best of IBS awards was fierce,” said Jerry Konter, NAHB’s Conventions and Meetings Committee Chair and a home builder from Savannah, Ga. “The 2015 winners represent the best and most innovative products on the market, and we are pleased to be able to honor them today.”
